Starting out with ten youth from the neighborhood, almost 14 years later, KOB has serviced over 3,000 participants since its inception.

KIDS OFF THE BLOCK, INC. (KOB) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit incorporated in the state of Illinois. Founded in 2003 by Diane Latiker.  She opened her home to the  youth in her community in order to help steer them away from the negative influences they saw daily. KOB works with 12-24 years old.  After speaking with the young people about their issues and concerns, Diane offered mentoring, afterschool activities, and a safe place to learn. Her work has lead to changing many lives in Chicago.   The Chicago community Loves and supports Diane Latiker and Kids Off The Block.
